School of Public Health and Nutrition

Our school is certified by the ISO 9001-2008 standard with validity until 2017. The scope of its Quality Management System has been established as ‘Education, Learning, and Design Services of the Undergraduate Degree of Nutrition and the Graduate Studies of the School of Public Health and Nutrition’.

 

Undergraduate Degree of Nutrition

The undergraduate program in Nutrition has been reaccredited by the National Council on Quality Nutrition Studies (CONCAPREN) with validity until July 2, 2019. The 2014 assessment concluded that “the program had fulfilled with 100 percent of the mandatory standards and 100 percent of the complementary standards”.

The Inter-institutional Committees for the Assessment of Higher Education (CIEES) conferred upon this degree an Acknowledgement of Quality Education for “the merit of the undergraduate program in Nutrition in complying during four consecutive years with all academic requirements established by the Committees and is, therefore, ratified in the System of Great Quality Studies.

 

Specialty of Clinical Nutrition

The specialization program in Clinical Nutrition is part of the National Program for Quality Graduate Studies of the National Council on Science and Technology (validity until 2016).

Master of Science Major in Public Health

The graduate study in Public Health is collaboratively implemented by the Schools of Dentistry, Psychology, Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health and Nutrition. This degree has been part of the National Program for Quality Graduate Studies of the National Council on Science and Technology (validity until 2015).

Master of Science Major in Nutrition

The graduate study in Nutrition is part of the National Program for Quality Graduate Studies of the National Council on Science and Technology (validity until 2017).
