Culture is a key element in the comprehensive education of our students. Therefore, UANL and the School of Public Health and Nutrition join efforts to promote and teach cultural diversity.
Through the UANL Vice Presidency of Extension and Culture, the Office of Cultural Extension and Athletics promotes different strategies assisted by general curriculum professors, the Office of Student Activities, the Department of Educational and Career Counseling, and the Student Government Board to encourage student involvement in contests of oral expression, young writing (poetry and short story), playwriting, pastorela, comics, plastic arts, Day of the Dead altars and poetry, chess, and rondalla, among others.
The objective is to preserve, promote, and disseminate culture and arts among people for maintaining our own identity, values, and cultural heritage.
The Office of Cultural Extension and Athletics invites students who wish to join the rondalla band or attend the painting and zumba workshops to apply at its facilities.
Get involved and participate!
